Invitation-first model
You are not visible to everyone. Someone must write you a personal invitation before a conversation can begin. This removes a large surface area for unsolicited contact compared to anonymous like-based apps.

Safety on Depthly is structural, not just reactive. The platform is designed to reduce bad behaviour by limiting surface area — and to catch what slips through with behavioral monitoring and human review.
Behavioral trust scoring (RRE)
Depthly tracks Response Rate, Response-time score, and Follow-through ratE for every member. Patterns like ghosting repeatedly, sending invitations rapidly, or abandoning conversations are automatically surfaced for steward review.
Steward oversight
Human stewards review flagged behavioral patterns — including spam clusters, high decline rates, and rapid churn — before any action is taken. Automated scoring informs stewards; stewards make the calls.
Connection limits reduce harm vectors
A cap of three active connections and five open matches means that bad actors cannot blast invitations at scale or maintain a large number of simultaneous deceptive conversations.
Report and block tools
In-app reporting and blocking are available on every profile and in every conversation. Reports go to the safety team immediately and are tracked against behavioral history.
Moderation standards
Harassment, impersonation, solicitation fraud, and abusive behavior are prohibited and result in account suspension. We investigate reports promptly and enforce zero tolerance for repeated offenses.
Profile verification
Verification checks reduce fake profiles and improve trust in match quality. Verified status is visible on profiles.
Offline date safety
Meet in public places, share your plans with someone you trust, and use in-app messaging to build familiarity before meeting. Trust your instincts — if something feels off, report it.
