You write an invitation — a short, personal note — and send it to someone on the Discover page. They receive it and decide whether to accept. If they do, a shared Connection Space opens between you. There is no anonymous liking or swiping.
Three active connections and five open matches at any time. When a connection matures and you promote it to a friendship, that slot frees up. The caps are intentional: they encourage you to be present with the people you're already talking to.
A match is a mutual pairing that hasn't yet been promoted to an active relationship. A connection is a match you've decided to invest in — it gets a dedicated Connection Space. Connections can later be promoted to friendships.
When you join, you complete a short readiness assessment that places you in one of four phases: Grounding, Opening, Exploring, or Deepening. Your phase shapes how you engage with the platform and what prompts are available. You move through phases at your own pace.
Every accepted invitation creates a Connection Space — a private shared area between you and one other person. It holds your message thread, your current phase, and your shared milestones. When a connection becomes a friendship, this space and its history carry forward.
You receive notifications when someone accepts your invitation, when a relationship is promoted to a new stage, and for other key milestones. Notifications appear in the bell menu in the header and on your Notifications page. You can mark them read individually or all at once.
RRE stands for Response Rate, Response-time score, and follow-through ratE. It is a behavioral quality score calculated from how reliably you respond to messages, how quickly you typically reply, and how often you follow through on conversations. RRE data is used internally to maintain platform quality — it is never shown to other members.
Yes. Once a connection has developed enough, you can promote it from a connection to a friendship. This opens a new connection slot and moves the relationship into a different mode — one without date-oriented prompts.
Matches are based on compatibility signals from your profile, values alignment, communication style, and behavioral quality indicators including RRE scores. You browse Discover and choose who to invite — we surface people most likely to be a good fit.
Yes. Visibility and discovery controls are available in account settings. You can pause discovery without losing your active connections.
Core matching, invitations, and messaging are free. Optional premium features may be available in the future.
